Keep your day-old chicks warm and comfortable during the critical brooding stage with this 2kW Electric Poultry Brooder.
Designed for commercial and farm-level poultry brooding, the unit uses a 2kW tubular electric heater together with a large reflector to distribute heat over the brooding area. It is suitable for approximately 1000 day-old chicks and provides coverage of around 200 sq. ft., making it an efficient heating solution for poultry farms, hatcheries and chick-rearing operations.
The recommended brooding temperature is approximately 28–30°C, depending on chick age, weather conditions, house insulation, ventilation and installation height.
Its suspended design allows the brooder to be positioned above the chicks so that heat is directed downward across the required area. The height can also be adjusted according to the temperature required at chick level.
Important: This model is supplied without an automatic thermostat. Temperature should therefore be monitored and the brooder height or operating conditions adjusted accordingly.
Suitable for poultry farmers looking for a simple electric brooding solution without the need for LPG or other fuel.
